“Ryan Lacy performed a mechanical systems analysis for the Unitarian Universalist Church in Concord, New Hampshire. We were very pleased with all aspects of Ryan's work. He was very responsive, worked within our budget, made practical recommendations and has helped us understand how to use our Fellowship Hall while addressing safety concerns during the Covid-19 emergency. Ryan is very professional and highly recommended.”

Facilities Manager

Hanover Consumer Cooperative Society

Lebanon, NH

“Ryan Lacey recently completed an energy efficiency study for us here at the Hanover Consumer Cooperative Society. He was tasked with performing an evaluation of our Lebanon N.H. location. It is a large supermarket with aging infrastructure that dates back to its construction in 1997. Ryan evaluated our HVAC systems as well as our refrigeration systems. I found him to be very thorough and knowledgeable, he pointed out numerous places where we could achieve significant savings through both major and minor changes. We are preparing to launch into renovations on both of these systems in the coming year and will be incorporating many of the changes that were suggested by Ryan. I found him to be both pleasurable and professional to work with. I would highly recommend him for whatever type of energy studies a company requires.”

“Lacey Engineering has been incredibly helpful as we navigate the high performance mechanical needs of our residential projects.  Ryan enjoys taking on the complexity of energy efficient residential design, and presents solutions in an understandable manner through a clear outline scope of work.  He not only understands the mechanical aspect, but also the building science behind the choices we are making.  He is definitely a valuable part of our high-performance building team.”

HOA President

Bryant Rock Condominiums

Newmarket, NH

“After repeatedly coming to a stalemate on what to do, we approached Ryan at Lacey Engineering to perform a study of an aging, loud, and very disruptive outdoor chiller at our condominium complex.

Ryan was professional, responsive, thorough, and creative throughout the process.  When he was onsite evaluating our equipment and sound levels inside and outside the building, we were impressed with his depth of knowledge.  In the end, Ryan provided us with a recommendation for a new quieter chiller and an extremely detailed “scope of work” document to help us move forward soliciting apples-to-apples pricing from contractors.  This will be a big help!

Ryan stands out in demonstrating true expertise - I would highly recommend him to any building owner or manager out there that needs help figuring out what to do with their building’s most challenging heating and cooling system needs.”
