Lacey Engineering was established almost 10 years ago by Nigel Lacey. Nigel had already had a long involvement with the 'Ducati Single', through his road racing career. 

During this career riding a Ducati he won championships & obtained podium positions at international level. All this had sparked an interest and love for the bevel single.
Since the start of Lacey Engineering a passion has grown to further the development of the 'Ducati Single'. The wish to place the humble machines at the top of the Classic Racing world is still a primary objective.

Considerable success has been achieved already by customers and friends, using engines built and developed by Lacey Engineering. The results speak for themselves.

Nigel is a practical engineer, working from intuition and feet on the ground experience, testing and experimentation. He claims not to know all the answers, as nobody does, however no stone is ever  left unturned in the quest for knowledge and achievement that fuels the passion.

The future- Many parts have been specifically developed to enhance the original machines performance and reliability, they have been rigorously tested and race proven over the past decade.
